Treatment of trauma-exposed children and young people<\/li>\n

I was trained as a psychologist in 1995, and a specialist in psychology in 2005. The first years as a psychologist I worked in the addiction field, so with that background it was natural to specialize in psychological work with addiction. For the next 10 years I worked at BUP Nedre Romerike, where I was team leader for one of the generalist teams and part of the management team. During that period, I also completed further education as a supervisor in cognitive therapy. At the time, I was also concerned with trauma and became an approved EMDR therapist. From 2008 I participated as a therapist in the first Norwegian TF-CBT study, and in 2010 I was recruited to conduct training in the method at NKVTS. I have been involved in the national implementation of TF-CBT in Norwegian BUPs since the start of the project in 2012, for a few years also as general manager. Through participation in the project for more than 10 years, I have gained a lot of experience with all aspects of implementation work, from training of practitioners to the follow-up of BUP leaders, in recent years also with the program for implementation leadership, LOCI. There has been a lot of exciting development work and meaningful participation in research, mainly related to TF-CBT and its implementation, but also other research at NKVTS.
