Bio:<\/strong> I hold a BSc and MSc in Psychology from the University of Konstanz, Germany, as well as an MSc in Psychological Research from the University of Oxford, UK. From 2016 to 2020, I completed my PhD in Psychology at the University of Bath, where my research focused on parenting and child trauma. My subsequent postdoctoral position from 2020 to 2022 at the Accelerate Research Hub, based at the University College London, involved applying innovative methodological approaches to improve multiple Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) outcomes simultaneously among adolescents living in sub-Saharan Africa. In March 2022, I moved to the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, where I completed a second postdoc using data from the Norwegian Mother, Father and Child Cohort Study (MoBa) and Norwegian population registries to investigate long-term effects of early educational experiences on child and adolescent adjustment. In December 2024, I joined my current department at NKVTS, where my work focuses on using survey and population registry data to study refugee health and integration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Academic Interests<\/strong>: My main research interests centre on modelling complex real-world relationships using a range of statistical and computational methods, including mixture models; structural equation modelling; and machine learning. I am particularly interested in: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Understanding different trajectories toward well-being or maladjustment and their predictors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Developing early preventive approaches informed by predictive modelling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Exploring causal mechanisms as a foundation for designing effective interventions. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Where possible, I apply a systemic approach to studying mental health and integration, considering not just individual-level contributors, but also broader environmental and societal influences. Ultimately, I aim to contribute to identifying the most effective interventions within the context of limited public resources, in both local and global health contexts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
