Main objective

  • To gain an overview of the competence possessed by practitioners and others working in the field of female genital mutilation
  • To create a basis for further efforts aimed at strengthening competence in the municipal child welfare sector
  • To make arrangements for better and more effective cooperation across professional groups and relevant environments
  • The survey will lead to a document that will be published on the Internet and will provide information about organizations that work with the issue of female genital mutilation

Method

Surveying by means of questionnaires, at national level, distributed to agencies and organizations strategically selected on the basis of population data from Statistics Norway. Internet publication in the form of a database.
