Men and violence. Consequences with health and work participation

This project investigates the relationship between exposure to violence and work participation among men. The aim of the study is to gain knowledge about the consequences of violence for work participation, and to explore possible preventive measures. Through analysis of data from Statistics Norway (SSB) and the Norwegian welfare directorate (NAV), as well as interviews of male victims of violence, we investigate whether various factors in the violent incidents, the victims, and the support system can increase the risk of reduced work participation after violence.
