Self-reported experiences with exposure and perpetration of problematic and harmful sexual behavior among youth receiving services in Norwegian Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinics
Much of the violence and abuse that children and adolescents experience are committed by other youth, with estimates ranging between 30-50%. Some evidence suggest that vulnerability and perpetration can be interrelated. Among children and adolescents receiving services at child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient clinics, about 70 per cent have experienced potentially traumatic events. However, we know very little about the perpetation of violence and abuse in this group.

- What are the association between problematic and harmful sexual behaviour and factors such as physical violene, use of porn, peer pressure, and social support?
- What is the relation between exposure and perpetration of sexual violence in youth referred to child and adolescent mental health services?
