Violence in intimate relations: gender, gender equality and power

This project addresses theoretical and methodological challenges in studying violence from an intimate partner and its relation to gender, gender equality and power. Two empirical sub studies will focus on sexual and reproductive violence as part of intimate partner violence, and mothers as victims of IPV and the particular challenges for victims of IPV in the context of contemporary trends towards shared parenting as part of a gender equality agenda.
