Reception of asylum seeking and refugee children in the Nordic countries: the Norwegian report

Pastoor, L. d. W., Eide, K., & Mekonen, L. (2010). Reception of asylum seeking and refugee children in the Nordic countries: the Norwegian report.

The Norwegian report is the result of a questionnaire addressing the reception of asylum seeking and refugee children in the Nordic countries. So far, comparable reports are available from Sweden, Denmark and Iceland.

The intention of the Nordic survey is both to identify and to compare the reception of asylum seeking and refugee children in the Nordic countries in relation to issues concerning health, care, accommodation and education. The collected data will make it possible to learn more about reception conditions in each country as well as in the Nordic countries in general from a comparative perspective.

The questionnaire has been developed by The Nordic Network for Research on Refugee Children. The aim of the network is to promote research on health, welfare and well-being of refugee children in the Nordic countries.
