Implementation of evidence-based treatment for PTSD in adults

Norwegian Center for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS) is implementing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Cognitive Therapy for PTSD for treatment of PTSD in adult mental health clinics. The project is funded by the The Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services.

Main objective

The goal of the project is to implement evidence based treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in adult specialized mental health clinics all over Norway. The research in the project takes aim at evaluating an implementation program (Leadership and Organizational Change for Implementation; LOCI) and its effect implementation outcomes through a stepped-wedge cluster randomized design.
